Sydney

Sydney ist die größte Stadt Australiens und die Hauptstadt von New South Wales.
Die hat eine Propoplation von 5 Milionen (ungefähr 3008 Einwohner pro km²) und hat mehrere sehr berühmte Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Sydney ist ein großer Touristmus Ort, der 26. Januar 1788 gegrüundet wurde und eine Fläche von 1.664 km² hat.
Die Stadt hat zudem eine gute lage an der Ostküste Australiens/New South Wales. Sydney hat rund 40 Local Government Areas (LGAs)(lokales Verwaltungsgebiet).
Die Tempraturen im Jahr sind zweischen ca. 8 und 16 Crad Celsius.
Ca. 30% der Einwohner sind außerhalb von Australien geboren.

Wenn man in Sydney mehr über die Stadt erfahren möchte, kann man in das "Museum of Sydney" gehen.
Die Harbour Bridge ist eine Brücke in Sydney, die auch zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten gehört.
Sie stellt die Hauptverbindung zwischen Sydneys Nordküste und Südküste her.
Von den Einbohnern Sydneys wird die Brücke gern "coat hanger" (Englisch: Kleiderbügel) genannt.
Wenn man die aussicht in Sydney genissen möchte und dazu einmal die Stadt von oben Sehen möchte ist der Sydney Tower der Richtige Ort!
Ebentso ist der Sydney Tower ein Fernsehturm.

Wer lieber etwas Ruhe haben möchte, für den wäre vielleicht der Botanische Garten in Sydney das Richtige.

Darling Harbour ist ein Stadtteil Sydneys sowie Erholungsgebiet und Shoppinggebiet.
Wer dort seine Freizeit verbringen möchte sollte etwas Geld mitnehmen.
Bondi Beach ist einer der berümtesten Strände Australiens und sehr beliebt bei Touristen.
Man sollte von einer Strecke von 5 bis 10 Kilometern ausgehen um den Strand zu erreichen.
Wer viele Stehensb besichtigt und dabei sparen möchte kann sich den Sydney Pass holen, damit spart man ca. 10 - 150€.

Wer den Ort besuchen will, sollte 1400 - 2000 € einplanen.

It was founded on the 26th of January 1788 and is a very famous tourist attraction
and has many universities, museums and galeries.

The city lies on the east coast of australia at the pacific ocean
and the urbanized area is 1664 squarekilometers big.


The most famous building was built from Jørn Utzon, which is called Opera House.
Jørn Utzon says that he was inspired by an unfolding orange, just as the Harbour Bridge.
The Harbour bridge, which was also built by Jørn Utzon, was opened on the 19th of March, 1932.

The opera lies near the Royal Botanic Gardens, which is the third biggest botanic garden in sydney.
It has opened every day, and it's free to enter. Sydneys cityzoo, the Taronga Zoo, lies in the center of Sydney,
and is a home for some rare species, such as dingos and duckbills.

The Art Gallery of New South Wales, lies west from the botanic garden, and there is art from the 19th- and 20th century.
In 1994 there was opened a expisition, called Yiribana,
this word means from the language of the Era (Aborigines der Sydney-Region) bedeutet "in this direction".
Yiribana is the biggest permanent exhibiton for art from the aborigines in ustralia.


The cultural diversity in Sydney is very big.
In 2006 around 31,7 percent of the population Sydneys was born in an other country than australia.
There are even districts, that are multi-cultural. The italian immigrants live in Leichhardt, Haberfield and Five Dock,
the greek in Eralwood and Marrickville, the libanese in Lakemba and Bankstown,the korean in Campsie and Strathfield,
the irish and new zealander in Bondi, the jews in Bondi, Waverley, St. Ives and Rose Bay, the indian in Westmead and Parramatta,
the chinese in Hurstville, Chatswood and Haymarket (Sydneys Chinatown) and the vietnamese in Cabramatta.
The population Sydneys are designated as "Sydneysiders".
